The Port of Singapore has recently employed an LNG bunker digital platform which has been jointly developed by Pavilion Energy and DNV. This new digital platform is said to improve process integrity, operational efficiency, and data transparency for customers.

The Singapore Port has previously focused on LNG, wherein FuelBoss was launched in 2021, which had completed 400 bunkering operations connecting over 20 customers with bunker suppliers, majorly in Europe. The users have gained substantial time savings going digital. Cristina Saenz, Regional Manager of South-East Asia, Pacific, and India at DNV stated that digitization has helped shape the maritime industry for the next step and that partnering with Pavilion Energy for LNG bunkering will accelerate the process.

The Port Authority of Singapore also welcomed Pavilion Energy and DNV’s effort in exploring solutions for LNG bunkering to improve transparency and operation efficiency in bunkering operations for LNG buyers and suppliers.
