China’s Ningbo-Zhoushan has started opening new yards and warehouses after a recent Covid outbreak hit the Beilun district earlier this month. To manage the container handling operations, the Ningbo-Zhoushan port was kept operational even after the covid outbreak and operated from 12 yards outside the port and seven warehouses.

The port is continuing to work with the local logistics supply chain and has increased service from nine more warehouses and sixteen stockyards to enhance the local container handling efficiency and capacity. The Ningbo-Zhoushan port has reported a 26.23m TEUs container volume which showed an increase of 9.8% year-on-year. With that, the port has also launched 14 container services and resumed 301 routes.
