India’s air freight network is gaining another boost with the launch of a dedicated freighter service connecting Mumbai with Hong Kong. The new service expands cargo capacity between two important trade hubs and creates additional options for exporters moving shipments from India to Hong Kong and beyond.
Hong Kong Air Cargo has introduced the service in partnership with Aeroprime Group, its Cargo General Sales and Service Agent in India. The Mumbai operation comes just two months after the partnership began, highlighting the growing focus on strengthening India’s position within regional air cargo networks.
Mumbai’s role as a major international cargo gateway makes the development particularly significant for Indian exporters. Improved air cargo connectivity from Mumbai can enable faster access to Asian markets, increase freight capacity, and offer businesses greater flexibility when planning time-sensitive international shipments.
