20Cube expands its global operations

20Cube Logistics headquartered in Singapore expands its operations through strategic merger of Australia headquartered OBM group of companies, operating in Australia, China, Hong Kong and Malaysia, and Omega Global Logistics - a pan India logistics operator. 20Cube will create a 30 country global presence focusing on emerging markets and their key trading partners over the next three years.

OBM group is an Australian owned, multi-disciplined company that provides a comprehensive range of specialist advisory and technical expertise in Consulting, Supply Chain and Customs issues operating from eight offices in four countries.

Stewart Loos, Managing Director - OBM group, said, “OBM has historically delivered superior levels of service to its customers but recently felt handicapped by limited reach and investment into a high end technology platform, which was essential to stay ahead of times of the service expectations of our customers. 20Cube has the same values, vision and expertise, hence was the right fit for us to expand.”

Omega Global Logistics Pvt. Ltd. head quartered in Mumbai, offering Freight Forwarding and Domestic Logistics services since 1995, has a pan India presence with operations in 15 cities across India. In-depth industry understanding, compliance with value adding solutions and sustainability have been their forte, which created the synergies with 20Cube philosophy.

Vikram Katre - Managing Director, Omega Global said, “20Cube has an emphasis on providing local know-how backed by a strong framework that allows our customers to be in complete control of their cargo movement. This capability can only be achieved by a global network integrating end-to-end solutions enabled through the use of modern technology, acquiring these competencies with a global reach was our next phase of growth. I am excited of the possibilities arising from our merger with 20Cube.”

Mahesh Niruttan - Chief Executive Officer, 20Cube Logistics says, “OBM and Omega have a significant presence in the emerging markets and strong in industry verticals where technology based logistics solutions can make a significant difference.
